The Woburn Historical Commission is responsible for the preservation, protection, and development of the historical and archaeological assets of our city. Our responsibilities include research on places of historic or archaeological value, educational outreach to the community, building upon the base of historic knowledge already in existence, and establishing long-lasting protection of these resources for future generations.

Woburn needs you in its Preservation efforts! Please call or email for information on how *you* can get involved. You can also support our fundraising efforts by purchasing any of our four Vintage Postage Series tshirts featuring the old Woburn High School, the Common, the old Train Station (with schedule), and the Armory. Meetings
The The Woburn Historical Commission generally meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at City Hall at 7:00 pm. Meeting notices are posted at City Hall. The public is encouraged to attend. Our office is located on the basement level in City Hall; office hours are Thursday evenings 6:00-7:00 pm, and by appointment.
